Balance I - 24x24 Oil Painting

In November, one of my smaller paintings was included in an edition of American Art Collector magazine. It was the smaller version, called the Passing Storm, that this painting is loosely based on. I say loosely because I looked toward the smaller one for composition but this really ended up going its own way, with many more twists and curves in water and sky and slightly different tones. So I'm calling it "Balance I" because I still want to continue to explore the concept of clouds balancing marsh waters on this larger scale. Hopefully "Balance II", further exploring the same concept, is just around the corner.
