Ocean Study I - 6x6 Oil Painting

I painted a few of these smaller ocean studies to get loosened up and get ideas for a slightly larger painting. Tomorrow I'll post a similar study.

Nanxi, I'll sometimes rub on a little linseed oil when I'm painting a new layer to keep things blendable, otherwise I just use paint straight from the tube. I do use a galkyd titanium white paint in place of regular titanium white for quicker drying.
