Marsh Impressions I - 2" x 2.75"


2" x 2.75" oil painting on stretched mini canvas

For the longest time I've had a few of these tiny stretched canvases that I picked up on a whim one day at an art store. I had forgotten about them. They're cute enough alone, but are really fun when paired with a mini easel. (I should have gotten a photo of it on one of the small easels, but for the life of me I couldn't remember where I stashed the easels.)

They're great for using up that leftover paint at the end of the day.

this is really nice - i love the greyed colors, and the movement of dark & light . . . and that it's so small! really good idea abt the leftover paint, too!

This is so hard to believe that this is an itty bitty little piece. it is great. The colors and perspective is just grand. Please do find the easel and take a photo of the two...these would make great gifts!

I saw these at our local art store and I wanted to buy them as well. Yes they are "cute" :-) I may have to go back and get them now. Lovely painting...it has so much atmosphere and the rust color in the foreground grabs the eye and allows it to recede so nicely into the subtle background.
