Patience - 18x24 OIl Painting

Apologies for the gap in posting. It's been raining nonstop for the past week - which meant I couldn't take pictures of paintings to post.

Back to my favorite yellow boat - it's been the subject of several smaller paintings but I was really itching to try it in a larger format. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Fabulous, vibrant painting. The composition is so strong, Kerri.

The rain--we needed it so badly, but it does make photos hard to take and paint never dries!

I'm not surprised this has already sold. It's REALLY great! Very strong composition - I love the reflections along with everyone else. I smiled when the DPO email came this morning. A few of us did yellow/blue paintings. And the 2 of ours beside each other seemed a good fit : )

Gorgeous reflections... lovely soft movement in the water and the zig zag reflections add a bit of zing to a tranquil painting. The yellows and blues work so well.
