Endless March - 6x6 Oil Painting

I had the unfortunate experience of a sick kitty needing to go to the emergency vet last night for a urinary blockage. I'm still waiting on him to be cleared to come home (probably tomorrow), but I did find painting very useful in relieving some of the anxiousness of the wait. Here he is, from his childhood days, being silly sandwiching himself between the cushions of my ratty old college couch. I can't believe it's been almost 8 years, but I'm hoping for many more!

It is a beautiful painting--and I love the quote about how we can't talk of cats without seeming to be nutty. How true! Your kitty is a beauty. I do know how stressful it is when our little furry friends are sick.
I am sending up positive thoughts for him...Please keep us informed!
